Disney Genie+ Photo Lenses

So Disney Genie+ is here, for better or for worse (and from my experience and most of my colleagues’ it’s definitely better but it WILL take some time to adjust as do all new things! ). Genie+ is $15/per person/per day to add onto your park ticket and your World of Wonder Travel agent CAN add this to your package.

So one of the things I really love about Genie+ are the new Photo Lenses! They are easy to use and I did some quick tests of what is currently out with them! They are NOT the best photos and I’m sure if you play with the filters some more, you can get some amazing shots BUT not me because y’all, it was like a million degree that day, BUT this should give you an idea of what you can find with Genie+

All of these photos can be downloaded right to your phone. They do NOT require Memory Maker as they are included as part of Genie+ (but we still HIGHLY recommend adding Memory Maker to your package).

Current Lenses (as of 10/22/22)

Bubbles: Mickey Bubbles
Genie: Turks you into Genie
Inner Villain: Find a face and unveil your inner villain - turns you into villain
Fireworks: Fireworks on background
Castle Nostalgia: avail in Central Plaza & Cinderella Castle — turns castle into the castle during various time periods - You can even take your picture in front with the different castles but I was traveling solo so alas, no photo of me in front of that big birthday cake castle!
50th Photo Booth - takes 4 pics that go into WDW 50th frame (note that I really loved this filter but I couldn’t get it to save to my phone… So my technologically inept self was probably just missing it!)
Constellations: Aim lens at the sky to get various character constellations…. Depending where you point the camera will depend on what constellation you get.
Mickey Mouse: avail in WDW Resort - Mickey comes into photo
Lady and the Tramp: dinner scene from Lady and the Tramp
Neon Magic - Neon bubbles with Minnie and Mickey
Cook with Remy: Available in Epcot - turned into a chef
EARidescent 50th - 50th frame and confetti

BONUS: I would be remiss if I didn’t mention my new favorite magic shot! CONFETTI! You can get this on any of the bridges or as you’re entering Magic Kingdom (they do NOT at this time do this right in front of the castle!
